Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg community knew that they would never go back. Ashley was only 17 and she had never been married before. They began the romance quite slowly. They immediately fell in love. Andrew asked at New Year's Eve just ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, to God would grant him a last blessing this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would marry him. Ashley was keen to have an all-wooden wedding to symbolize Andrew as well as her. The couple incorporated a bit of everything they love for their big day. The location was the back 40 acres of the land Ashley has grown up on. Ashley was a keen player and would explore throughout the entire land, even the trails they had walked in order to reach it. Andrew and Ashley had also walked the area multiple times before when they first started dating. The couple performed the majority of the DIY, so personalization is important. Andrew and Ashley's father built the seating area and the arch used for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley states that if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral had not done her amazing floral work for us, our wedding might not have had the amazing feeling that I had hoped it would. Simply stunning.
